The Woolmark

The Woolmark specifies that a product contains pure new wool. The Woolmark logo is recognised throughout the world as a symbol of quality and reliability.

Before a manufacturer can apply the Woolmark label to his products, stringent testing for quality and performance must meet the high standards set by The Woolmark Company. Continuing random testing ensures that quality is maintained.

Australian Wool Product Collection

The Australian Wool Product Collection logo was developed by the Interior Textiles Division of The Woolmark Company in response to the growing interest in Australian wool from residential and contract customers around the world.

Australian wool is recognised for its high quality which is why international textile manufacturers specify it for their products. There are a wide variety of Australian wooltypes to provide characteristics of bulk, softness, strength, durability and long lasting appearance retention.

Launched in November 1997, the Australian Wool Product Collection logo identifies quality products using Australian wool.

The products must meet Woolmark or Woolmark Blend specifications and the logo can only be used in association with one of these well recognised symbol.
